handheldsfordoctors is run by two experts in the use of handheld technology. Dr Mohammad Al-Ubaydli and Dr Laura Dean graduated from the Univeristy of Cambridge as medical doctors. Mohammad worked as a freelance programmer since the beginning of medical school, and knows more about the technical features and practical uses of handhelds than most people in the UK. Laura has used her IT experience in Cambridge, Oxford and Washington DC to perfect training courses for doctors. They now consult on the use of IT in healthcare, and lecture around the country and internationally on this topic.
